General Information[]
Sniper Towers deal high damage and have a long range, but can only damage one monster at a time. The Sniper Tower is best used as a support tower to other towers because they wouldn't last alone, so putting Sniper Towers near/at the borderline limits of your yard can be a very bad idea. Only put Sniper Towers on the outside of your yard if it has support. Since they are slow to reload, they are easily defeated by a larger group of even weak monsters like Pokeys. Sniper Towers are best paired up with the Cannon Tower and/or Laser Tower from short distance or with the Railgun from long distance, so they won't get knocked down as easily. The monsters will group around the Sniper Tower while the Cannon Tower or Railgun kills them. This tower must be placed at the edge of your yard. This Tower can also attack flying monsters but it's weak. Be sure you pair your Sniper and your Aerial Defense Tower to effect.
This tower is one of the four towers that can attack flying monsters (currently only the Teratorn, Zafreeti, Balthazar, Vorg and Fomor) besides Tesla Towers, Aerial Defense Towers, and Magma Towers. Sniper Towers have the highest range for a defensive tower, unless you count the Monster Bunker, which makes them great for taking out D.A.V.E.s with Rockets (as is Aerial Defense Towers and Railgun when upgraded to level 6).
As is with the other towers, its function will decrease as its health decreases.
